In a home full of glowing rectangles, the most arresting object on the wall is the one that moves. Our client makes it: a connected, app-controlled display that spells out messages, art and moments through hundreds of mechanical flaps, each one turning with a sound you feel as much as hear. It is analogue theatre with a digital brain, built from vetted materials to a standard that has earned it design awards and a place in some of the most considered interiors in the world.
Fresh out of production and proven in its home market, the company was ready to do something harder than build a beautiful object: sell it, at a premium, to the world. Studio Nine was brought in to lead that push, owning the global go-to-market from strategy through to the campaigns running live today.
The challenge
A remarkable product is only half a launch. This one carries a premium price, sits in a category most people do not yet know they want, and had to travel from a single proven market to many at once, each with its own audience, culture and buying behaviour. The magic of the object is physical, the tactility, the movement, the sound, which is precisely the part hardest to convey on a screen or in an ad. The task was to build desire at scale, in multiple markets, for a category of one, while a young production line found its rhythm. That needed a go-to-market that could travel: one story, told with discipline, everywhere it landed.
Our role
Studio Nine was engaged as the global go-to-market partner for the launch: the team that turns a production-ready product into worldwide demand, and stays accountable for the result. We own the work from the first strategic decision to the live campaign, so a focused internal team can reach a global audience with the confidence of a much larger operation.
Global go-to-market strategy
The foundation. Market prioritisation and sizing, audience definition, a positioning and message architecture built to hold up across cultures, proposition and pricing framing per market, and a phased plan for entering regions in the right order rather than all at once.
Launch out of production
We built the launch around the production ramp, turning “fresh off the line” into a moment rather than a footnote, and pacing demand generation to meet new supply so momentum and availability moved together.
Campaigns, live in market
Full-funnel campaigns are running now across paid, social and content, introducing the object to new audiences and converting curiosity into orders. Each one is designed to make the tactile experience land on a screen, then carry the viewer all the way to purchase.
Performance and global traction
The work is measured and optimised live. As campaigns compound, the client is seeing rising demand and growing recognition across new regions, with international interest now a meaningful and increasing share of the whole.
Impact
An object admired at home is now wanted worldwide. A premium product, fresh from the line, reached a global audience through a coordinated launch, with campaigns live in market and international traction climbing month on month. Beyond the numbers, the company gained a go-to-market operation built to keep expanding: a repeatable way to enter a new market and make a beautiful thing impossible to ignore.
“Studio Nine took us from a great product ready to ship to a brand the world is starting to ask for. They own the go-to-market end to end, and the traction speaks for itself.”
