Most of the electric transition has been sold in the language of sacrifice. Range, running costs, emissions: rational arguments for a rational purchase. One of the world’s leading premium electric motorcycle companies was built on the opposite conviction, that the surest way to move people to electric is not to win the argument, but to build something they want more than the thing they already own.

British-built and unapologetically design-led, the marque treats an electric motorcycle as an object of desire rather than a worthy compromise. Heritage-inspired lines, hand-finished detailing, fit and finish borrowed from luxury goods, and a direct-to-rider model that keeps the brand in the room with its customer. The machine was already exceptional. Studio Nine was brought in to make sure the way it reached the market was too.

The challenge

Premium and pace rarely sit comfortably together. A luxury brand earns desire slowly, through restraint; a growth business needs demand now, at volume. The roll-out had to do both at once: build a category-defining position in a market that barely existed, while filling an order book model by model and launch by launch. Every touchpoint had to carry the confidence of the product, every launch had to feel like an event rather than an announcement, and the whole operation had to answer to hard commercial targets. That called for a single, deliberate strategy connecting the story, the channels and the numbers, not a scattergun of disconnected campaigns.

Our role

Studio Nine was engaged as the strategic marketing partner behind the roll-out: the team that turns the idea for a launch into a fully orchestrated campaign in market, and stays accountable for what it returns. We own the work end to end, from the first positioning session to the media live on launch day, so a lean internal team can go to market with the weight of a far larger one.

Go-to-market strategy

The spine of the engagement. For every model and every moment we build the full plan: audience and demand mapping, positioning and message architecture, proposition and pricing framing, channel strategy and a phased launch calendar. Nothing goes live until the thinking is clear, sequenced and signed off, so each roll-out compounds the last rather than competing with it.

Concept to execution

We carry the launch from a single strategic thought to finished, in-market work: campaign platform, creative concept, art direction, copy, film, stills, web, email and social, produced to a premium standard and shipped on schedule. One team holds the thread the whole way, which is why the work stays coherent from the boardroom slide to the paid ad.

The full digital roll-out

We plan, build and run every digital surface around a launch: launch pages and product experiences, the paid media architecture across search, social and display, organic and lifecycle email, and the always-on content that keeps the marque present between launches. Each surface is designed to move a rider from first glance to test ride to order.

Launch orchestration

A roll-out is a sequence, not a switch. We choreograph the reveal across teaser, announcement, sustain and conversion phases, with PR, partner and owner moments timed to build momentum rather than spike and fade. The strategy tells everyone what happens, where and when, so nothing lands by accident.

Performance and lifecycle

The work does not stop at launch. We measure against commercial targets, read the data across the funnel and optimise live, then feed what we learn into the next roll-out. Between launches, the lifecycle programme keeps interest warm, drives test rides and protects the order book.

Impact

A premium marque now has a go-to-market operation to match its product: a repeatable roll-out playbook that turns each launch into a considered, high-performing event, a digital ecosystem that carries riders from first look to order, and a partner trusted to own the strategy from concept to delivery. The position is no longer simply a beautiful electric motorcycle. It is one of the most desirable marques in its category, launched like one every time.

“Studio Nine took our launches from an ambition to a machine. They own the strategy from the first idea to the last click, and every roll-out lands sharper than the last.”
